Land Rover Test Drive Day

Saturday June 24th,
Today Land Rover Held a Test Drive session @ the Bukit Kiara Equestrian near KLGCC. My family and I went there @ 10am to try out the test drive.

Discovery 3
This is a 7 seater 4x4, to It cost about RM500K++. Discovery 3 is more practical and it is the "cheapest" among all 3 of them. We still cannot afford those rich car even they give us 75% discount, which is not gonna happen :P

Range Rover Sport
It has very nice sporty design, I like it very much and it comes with 3 LCD TVs to allow us to watch movie in the car. This car has the best handling. This baby cost about RM700K++

Ranger Rover
In terms of comfortable, the Range Rover is the best out all of them. but this thing cost u over RM1.1M to own it. O_O

Having to test drive cars that cost over half-a million was a nice experience, when u cant even afford to pay 25% of their cost. These cars are for the riches, not for the normal people like us. Besides all these, they also provide a free poly ride (riding horse :P ). I wasnt able to try those, but I believe I gonna try this next time.

I was told that next week they gonna have a live test drive @ their show room, Jalan Ampang.
Well thats all about my Saturday activity. ( I got no time to write, becos the world cup German vs Sweden is on live now)

Saturday Tour Chapter 4

In the continuation to Auntie Philip’s Chapter 3, I took the responsibility to write the last chapter which they didn’t left anything much for me to write. I decided to write my own story with my own style.

So I’ll start my own story @ 12 P.M.

@12p.m.Due to typical Malaysian attitude, I expect all my friends will not make it to Times Square @ 2pm. So I decided to delay my arrival for another 15 minutes for good.

@ 1pm.I was preparing myself to Kepong KTM station, and I arrived around 1.25pm. I got my ticket and waited the KTM train which was scheduled to arrive around 1.30pm. Base on my experience and calculation, I should be arriving at Times Square by ~2.15pm.

@ 1.55pm. I was at KL Sentral, it seems that I had arrived a bit earlier than I expected. I took my own sweet time, walk to the McDonald Kiosk and buy an apple flavored Sundae ice-cream. It cost me RM2, guess what? It tastes YUCK! Last time I had tried orange and raspberry flavor. Both of them taste very nice, but this apple one tast yuck! Waste my precious RM2 for nothing!

@2.15pm.I was right in front of Berjaya Times Square. Nobody was there. Hey guys it is 2.15pm. already arent we suppose to be here by 2pm????. Take out my HP, call Philip, “Hello, this is Billy, Philip, I’m right in front of Times Square, where are u guys?” I was told by Auntie Philip that he will be late by 20~30 minutes. Ok I start wondering around Times Square, I went to level 8,9,10. Level 8,9 seems to be deserted, retail lots are not rented out. Times Square IT center (level 9) seems to fail to boom up like lowyat. Went to level 10 look for vegetarian food, but there is no vegetarian food in Times Square. T_T

@2.35pm. Everybody is here, all 3 of them are complaining that I should buy the ticket b4 they arrive. Awwww come on! How I gonna know u guys will come to Times Square or not? I don’t buy that risk. It is Rm44. (Since u guys are late and the movie starts @3pm, and as what chun eng said the announcement board is not updated accordingly, it shows to me there are still 150 seats left.) ....

After that we went to borders, I took Philip to Borders to buy his programming book. Chun eng, ash and I sit down together to have a short conversation while Philip took his own sweet time to choose his book. I’ll skip this portion becos Eng and Philip already mentioned in their blog. (read chapter 2, 3)

@ Lunch time, We were sitting together having lunch @ Sungai Wang Food court. While we were chatting, there was a girl promoting drinks. We told her we are not interested, but she still keeps on promoting. Alright, Let’s play a hard one. I began flirting her, “I’ll buy ur drinks, then u sit beside me and drink.” Not long after that I successfully scare her away. :P

@ Next, I bring Philip to buy shoe, He is very picky. The other 2 guys, eng and ash keep complaining Auntie Philip for being too picky. He ends up empty handed. Next stop, to Lowyat plaza, Philip want to buy mouse, again he is very picky, the 2 other gentlemen have no patient already. They decided to break up and walk on their own.

“Guys, u must have some patient when doing shopping. There are some shoppingholics out there, they are much worst than our auntie Philip.”

@Next target, shopping for Laptop, Auntie Philip’s budget is only Rm1999~RM2999. But he wants a high performance laptop that comes with a built-in ATi graphics. I suggested IBM, as I am the owner of 5 laptops, so I know very well in laptops brand. Because Philips is very picky, no laptops suit him.

requested by my blogger friends, I add on some part that I miss out.

then the 2 buggers that broke off away from us (me and philip) start calling philip and wonder where are we. We meet at 3rd floor, then we decide to have a drink. But none of us was able to decide what to have a drink. Billy suggested to go down to LG floor a look at food court. Becoz the price of the drinks here are not very reasonable.

It about 6.30pm, we decided to go back to Times Square (Philip's car was park at Times Square)
I was told by Philip that he park his car at the basement. I was shock, becoz all the time I never park my car @ basement b4. (There are a lot of car parks from level 1 to level 10)

As we went down to LG floor, Philip went to the supermarket to buy mineral water, I took my chance and bought a Jelly :D RM1.29 only, cheap enough hehehe.

skipping on how we reach KLSentral....(*ahem) :P

then 3 of us , ash, Chun eng and me reached KL sentral & bought our transit ticket and went home.
